A TRIP TO TINGLOY, BATANGAS

I've always planned going to Tingloy after reading blog post about this place. And finally, the day has come.

Alabang South Station - Batangas Grand Terminal - Php 127.00 (bus)

Batangas Grand Terminal - Anilao, Mabini - Php 35.00 (jeep)

This is Anilao Port.

It took me almost an hour to get to Anilao Port due to traffic. At Anilao, you have to log in at coast guard before you take the boat ride for Coast Guard records.

Anilao Port - Tingloy Port - Php 65.00

I was fortunate enough that there were less passengers and I get to explore and own the boat for a while for some snapshots.

It took more than 30 minutes to get us to Tingloy port. It is a small port where tricycles are waiting for passengers.

The ricefield was awesome.. I think I will try to comeback here on the right season, when the fields are all greener and more picturesque. I think harvest month is much better.

Then I came to the concluding part... Masasa Beach...

Masasa Beach is in need of full attention from the local municipality and respect from campers and travelers. The beach is dirty and damaged. Garbage are all over, the sand is mixed with bonfire ashes and fragments. The beach shore has dead seaweeds.. on and on with other setbacks so I will stop from here. I just hope that Masasa will get its needed help soon enough.
